To make our cleaning service more efficient, we ask that you put away your personal belongings and de-clutter any surfaces (pick up clothing, toys, and other household items) prior to a visit from our team.
There is no obligation for you to be present while we clean your home as long as someone is there to let us in. If you are not going to be present upon our arrival you can arrange the key to be picked up and returned to one of your neighbors. You can also leave a lockbox outside. During the cleaning, our teams will lock the door and will not allow any unknown person to enter your home.
Due to insurance and safety issues, large items such as sofas, wardrobes and beds remain in place during a standard clean. The effort, potential damage and risk of injury involved in moving such heavy pieces typically outweigh the benefits of cleaning beneath them, especially on a routine basis. Our cleaning crews will also not stand on furniture or more than a 3 step ladder to reach any areas. We will always do our best to reach and dust/clean the higher areas in your home.
Choose a day for your cleaning service that works best for you. While our cleaning technicians are friendly and very accommodating, it is best to keep your children and pets out during the duration of the home cleaning service. There are still some of our staff who are uncomfortable with pets around making it more difficult and stressful for the cleaner. Other cleaners are allergic to pets too, so the best way is to keep your furry family members out for their sake as well.
While our maids are careful and professional, accidents are unforeseen, therefore, we ask that you please put away any fragile items and move the furniture out. This will help ensure that nothing gets broken or damaged during the cleaning process and allow the cleaners to clean a larger area easily. We will not be responsible for any damage that occurs to your valuables, antiques, crystals… if they are left out.
If there is a particular chemical that you would like us to use, we will need to train our technician to use the product.
In most cases, we provide our own cleaning products and equipment when cleaning your home especially for a move out/in cleaning. Our cleaners are trained in the safe use of our own supplies and equipment and they know that they’ll have everything to clean your home properly, this is why we like to do a walkthrough of your home prior to the very first cleaning.
We can also provide our own vacuum but if you already have a quality vacuum at home it’s best to allow our cleaning technician to use it. It will improve cleanliness and avoid cross contamination as we aren’t taking a vacuum from one home to another.
No! You can cancel any time you wish.
Please give us at least 24-hour notice if you would like to skip, cancel or reschedule any cleaning appointment, otherwise there will be a cancellation fee.
We normally follow what schools do with a few exceptions. If the weather is really bad, all appointments will be rescheduled. If the cleaning tech wants to work and can drive safely to the house, we inform you that we will be working, but maybe starting an hour earlier or later than usual.
